It consists of a cylinder with slits cut vertically in the sides.  As the cylinder spins, the user looks through the slits at the pictures across. From Pencils To Pixels  This documentary was a celebration of the world of animated feature film and whether there is a future for the traditional animated techniques in modernized film and editing software. It shows the history of film, how we got to where we are to this day, providing us with an inside look at how animations are made and how they are then constructed using a digital format. It included the first look at a digitally made film-like, Finding Nemo and Toy Story alongside the more originally drawn and handcrafted movies like  Spirited Away and Snow White.   (The process of animated film advancing through time to the modern-day digital format)

It should be a factual report on a current/past event which has affected reality in order to bring it to a worthy position.  Expository documentaries could be considered as one of the most accurate ways of shooting a film. These types of documentaries aim to inform/persuade the viewer through narration from outside the frame “voice of god”.
