CHARACTERS

Olivia - The main ‘protagonist’ of the story is a bright and reliable young girl. She has high hopes for the future and takes pride in knowing she will go far in life. She is mature and a well known pupil around the school, from taking part in volunteering to club activities, she strives to help those around her where possible.

Since Nate's death, guilt of the possible outcomes have drowned her in a pool of guilt. She struggles to accept his death and even refuses to believe he is gone. Everything about her has now changed, from her now morbid and dark demean to her personality becoming closed off and harsh. No one is able to get a response from her, when offering help, Olivia will snap.

Olivia begins to hallucinate Nate which causes more distress from the girl, trauma and fear run through her as this is something she cannot rid.

Nate - Being a joyful and boisterous young boy, he brings light to whoever he passes. Those around school refer to him as being the closest human replica to the sun. Being Olivia's childhood Best Friend and life support, he has stuck by her side through thick and thin. Nothing has ever tore them apart. Apart from his death.

Nate appears to Olivia as a hallucination, haunting her in mental ways. This Nate is not joyful and boisterous, instead he is filled with resent for Olivia. ‘Nate’ finds any way to chip apart her mental sustainability until she finally snaps, in which he can finally lay down to rest with her.
