Connotations Through Photos
The connotations through pictures, demonstrated in a artistic form of expression. we were given a task of showing our interpretation of words through a series of pictures captured by our group. [Millie, Meg and Sophie] Loneliness The isolation from the rest of the world and longlines into the distance is the purest form of loneliness. The slouched posture and heavy gaze connotes the separation from the rest of the community with no escape. Poverty The abandonment and sadness through this photo connotes the poor health and low mood of the person trying to survive outside in the harsh weathers. The isolation and rejection from society leaves us questioning into how they got into that situation. Fear The fear of being caught and the suspense into wanting more is displayed in this image. The girl just being discovered leaves us wanting to know what happens next, even if it is shown through pictures. Love The two hands touching through the glass is a powerful connotation ...
