Connotations Through An Exchange

Connotations Through An Exchange [featuring Millie, Meg, Sophie and Chanel] For our exchange task, we were given the challenge of creating a short film within 20 shots of an item being exchanged between two people. The task involved keeping to a strict number of shots while still being able to perfectly demonstrate the story told. Our group had decided to pass a USB stick between two people. This was shown through Millie passing a ‘secret’ document to Sophie, with her then smuggling that into Megs pocket. We managed to use all the required shots from, match on action shots, POVs, eye-line, too wide angle and closeup shot types. Our shots all involved each element required for this task. We managed to complete filming on time with the slightest of hiccups of Megs not being there for one lesson and Millie and Sophie being called to do a video for the school’s website.
